NWTF Gun of the Year: Remington 1100 G3
Whether in the turkey woods, on the dove field or in a display case,
the 2010 Gun of the Year melds utility with design to create a
functioning work of art. Elegant stocks contrast with the polished
blue of this 20-guage Remington 1100 G3. Elaborate roll-engraving on
the receiver celebrates spring by featuring a gold-enhanced
strutting tom on the left side with the NWTF's classic seal on the
right. The Model 1100 G3 takes an American favorite to a new level
of function and incorporates features that enhance the gas-operating
system, reduce wear and improve cleaning. Starting with the solid
carbon steel receiver, the G3 wears a Titanium PVD (Physical Vapor
Deposition) coating, providing an attractive, yet durable finish.
All internal operating parts are honed, nickel-plated and treated
with a Teflon coating. Other improvements include a
pressure-compensated, 26-inch ribbed barrel, which enables the use
of light 2-inch target loads interchangeably with heavier 3-inch
magnum loads. The Realwood semi-fancy carbon-fiber-laminate stocks
feature a high-gloss finish and modern, stylized machine-cut
checkering, and are strong enough to withstand even the toughest
days in the field. Limited edition of 2,200. Made in the USA. |

Featured Artist of the Year Print "Riverside Pursuit" by Adam Smith
Who knows what's next on this mountain lion's menu? The secret lies
with this year's artist of the year Adam Smith. Born in Minnesota in
1984 and moved to Montana when he was 9, Smith was raised in the
world of wildlife art. His father, artist Daniel Smith, often had
mounts, skins and wildlife references scattered around the studio.
His home, nestled in the woods at the base of a mountain, offers
frequent visits from elk, moose and mountain lions. "Nature is part
of who we are as a family," Smith said. Image size: 11 5/16 inches
by 20 inches. Limited edition of 2,200. Made in the USA. |
