2009 Hunting Heritage Banquet Core Package

Come and join in the fun of a local NWTF wild turkey fund-raising banquet. The NWTF banquets are where you can buy exclusive merchandise and have a great time with friends. All the while, you will be raising vital funds for wild turkey conservation and important programs that introduce the outdoors to women, children and the disabled.

NWTF Wooden Chest
Store jewelry, family heirlooms and more in this handsome, stained white pine chest on an iron stand. A slim drawer with three antiqueinspired drawer pulls is ideal for small valuables. Arthur Anderson's "Back for Breakfast" adds the perfect rustic touch to the lid, which opens to reveal storage for larger items. The chest is made in the USA, and measures 19 inches long by 12.25 inches deep by 26.5 inches tall.

1988-2008 NWTF Stamp Frame
The 2009 Stamp Frame makes a wild and colorful addition to any stamp collector's or hunter's personal collection. Pat Pauley's 2009 stamp print image of a gobbling tom serves as a centerpiece for 21 turkey stamps from 1989-2009. A black frame with a gold inset frame and black-and-gold matte complete the stamp frame, which measures 20 inches by 18.5 inches.

"Another Autumn" by Melissa Ball
Melissa Ball's extraordinary talent for painting on feathers led her to become the NWTF's 2005 Stamp Print Artist of the Year, and the 2003 Featured Artist of the Year, and to win the NWTF's 2001 Grand National Art Competition. Now, Ball has created a turkey feather decorated with a white-tailed deer feeding during the sparse conditions of fall, and this print captures as much exquisite detail as the original feather. Measuring 17.75 inches by 6.5 inches, it has a textured double matte and rustic wooden frame. Edition size: 2,600.

Trapper’s Basket
You'll find many handy uses for this sturdy woven trapper's basket, whether it's used as a touch of rustic décor for a room or taken along on your next picnic. The basket has convenient straps and features an NWTF emblem on the back. The basket measures 22 inches long by 13 inches wide by 10 inches deep.

Turkey Vase
This regal vase adds timeless style to your home. With bronze resin turkey silhouettes circling the base, a cracked-glaze eggshell finish and elegant styling, the NWTF's turkey vase adds a beautiful, yet simplistic touch to any room. Vase measures 13 inches tall by 7.5 inches wide.

"Twilight Glow" by Terry Redlin
The best part of any camping trip is when the tent is finally pitched, the sun is setting, and the campfire is just beginning to crackle. Terry Redlin's "Twilight Glow," measuring 27 inches wide and 12.5 inches high (image size), perfectly captures the solitude and tranquility of a riverside camping trip somewhere in the North Country as a mallard drake and hen are settling in for the roost. It comes complete with NWTF medallion in the matting and a metallic-stained wooden frame.

Umbrella Stand
Dress up your entry hall or office with this antique-style umbrella stand. Storage for rainy-day gear never looked so good. One umbrella with an NWTF logo is included. The stand measures 24 inches tall.

Legacy Lamp
Back by popular demand, this Tiffany-style lamp will cast a comfortable warm glow in your living room, den or bedroom. The base is a reproduction of the "Legacy" statue that graces the front of NWTF headquarters in Edgefield, S.C., showing a father with his son and daughter returning from a successful turkey hunt. "Redbud Lane" by Wilhelm Goebel
Wilhelm Goebel's work has been featured on many NWTF prints and state-issued wildlife stamps, and can be found in private collections across the country. Goebel's newest NWTF painting, "Redbud Lane," portrays a flock emerging into a misty field one bright spring morning, slipping undetected past two hunters in the distance. Measuring 24 inches wide by 16 inches high (image size), "Redbud Lane" provides the perfect splash of color for your den or office. Limited edition size: 2,600.

NWTF Knife of the Year
For 2009, the NWTF presents another highly sought-after knife to add to your collection. This year's knife features a 440 stainless steel blade, leather sheath with button clasp and a comfortable handle with finger guard for easy handling. In addition to sleek lines, this 9-inch knife offers a two-tone wooden handle of black pakka wood and burl wood that adds flair to an already beautiful knife.

Children’s Swing
This resting place for small visitors will add big style to your porch or patio. Six turkey poults follow their mother across the back of this wrought-iron and wood children's swing. Including the metal frame, this swing measures 43.5 inches tall by 32 inches wide.

NWTF Fire Pit
Share turkey hunting memories over an inviting fire any time, any place with this durable and unique fire pit. This ornate fire pit is crafted from cold-rolled steel and adorned with turkey tracks and NWTF cut-outs around the sides for extra ventilation. "Wood Pile" by Art LaMay
Art LaMay, one of America's best-known waterfowl artists, is listed as one of the top 10 artists in the Who's Who of Waterfowl Art. LaMay's unique decorative style shines in this brilliantly colored print of five wood ducks perched on a tree limb. Measuring 24 inches by 14 inches (image size), this image has a double matte featuring an inset NWTF medallion and a rustic wooden frame. Edition size: 2,600.

Decorative Wood Duck
This brightly colored, individually hand-painted decorative drake wood duck decoy comes from the workshop of master carver Jules Bouillet of Vincennes, Ind. This cast resin replica decoy reveals superb attention to detail and makes a great conversation piece on your mantel. It measures 13 inches long by 7 inches high by 7 inches wide.

"Fall Announcement" – Elk Sculpture
Looking down over his domain from a rugged hilltop, a magnificent bull elk bugles to lay claim on his territory in this resin sculpture by Terrell O'Brien. This resin sculpture by Greg O'Neal beautifully captures the graceful motion of a whitetail buck bounding through a grassy area. The sculpture stands 17 inches tall, and measures 14 inches long by 10 inches wide. An NWTF logo medallion is inset in the dark wooden base along with a nameplate that states the name of the sculpture and artist, as well as the edition number, 1 to 2,600.

“On the Prowl” – Turkey Sculpture
Artist Greg O'Neal skillfully captures a wild turkey gobbler in midstride with this resin sculpture titled, "On The Prowl." This beautiful artwork measures 19 inches long by 11.5 inches wide by 14 inches high, and each sculpture is individually numbered. An NWTF medallion is inset in the wooden base. Production is limited to 2,600.

2009 NWTF Gun of the Year
Long recognized as a leader in the gun industry, Winchester introduces yet another outstanding firearm. The 2009 NWTF Gun of the Year is a Winchester Super X3, general purpose, gas-operated, 12-gauge autoloading shotgun with a matte gray receiver that will make a stately addition to any collection. The stock and fore-end are checkered high-grade walnut with a satin finish. Elegant gold plates on either side of the stock are laser engraved with "National Wild Turkey Federation" on one side, and the round NWTF logo and "Preserving the Hunting Tradition" on the other side.

"The Conservationist" by Terry Redlin
Thanks to the work of thousands of concerned outdoorsmen and women, wood ducks are one of today's most abundant waterfowl. Terry Redlin's "The Conservationist" salutes this restoration success story. Early on a spring morning, we watch a grandfather, father and son working together to assure the next generation of wood ducks a secure nesting site. This inspiring work measures 14 inches tall by 24 inches wide (image size), and features an NWTF medallion in the green double matting and a dark bronze-stained wooden frame.

Antique-Style Nesting Trunks (set of 3)
Find a home for warm winter blankets, out-of-season clothes and other household items with this set of three textured faux leather trunks. Bruce Miller, last year's NWTF Featured Artist of the Year, captures the majestic beauty of a white-tailed deer family bathed in golden light in "Twilight Deer." In this print, a heavy-racked buck, a mature doe and a fawn stand in a patch of wildflowers, alerted to an unseen danger and ready to dart to safety. Double-matted in neutral tones and placed in a dark wooden frame, this piece measures 16 inches by 24 inches. Edition size: 2,600.

"What’s Cookin'" by Greg Alexander
Artist Greg Alexander, NWTF Artist of the Year in 2006, beautifully shows a large black bear perched on a rock, perhaps contemplating his next meal, with a vibrant background of trees and amazingly detailed reflections. Alexander works for weeks from his studio in Ashland, Wis., to get every piece just right, and his attention to detail shows in this picturesque scene. This piece measures 27.5 inches by 19.75 inches, and has a linen liner and dark wooden frame with tasteful gold accents. Edition size: 2,600.

"Spring Treasures II" by Pat Pauley
A trio of wild turkey gobblers descend, strutting and gobbling, into a damp field one foggy morning in Pat Pauley's giclée "Spring Treasures II." Measuring 28 inches wide by 18.75 inches tall, "Spring Treasures II" floods turkey hunters' imaginations with memories of seasons past, and wishes for seasons to come. Limited Edition size: 2,600.

"Here’s to Our Heroes" by Jack Paluh
Jack Paluh gives touching recognition to the American solider in "Here's to Our Heroes." Often known as "the hidden artist," Paluh's giclée captures a memorable moment as a father and son celebrate a successful turkey hunt. Over their shoulders, the memory of a fallen veteran who paid the ultimate price for our freedoms stands guard with an American flag. This giclée measures 28 inches wide by 22 inches tall and is a limited edition of 2,600.

"Royal Domain" by Ned Smith
During his 46-year career, the late E. Stanley "Ned" Smith of Millersburg, Pa., became wellknown for his lifelike, nature-themed artwork. Smith's talent is evident in the NWTF's 2009 Commemorative Artist of the Year Print, which shows the glorious flight of the world's most majestic gamebird. In a palette of subdued colors, "Royal Domain," depicts an Eastern wild turkey tom with outstretched wings, soaring over a valley covered in fall foliage. This image was the NWTF's Stamp of the Year in 1985. It measures 19 inches by 14 inches (image size), and has a linen liner and wooden frame. Edition size: 2,600.
